TO SUBMIT A CASE

Our Criteria

• Your conviction occurred in or near Idaho
• You must claim actual innocence
• Identity should be an issue (wrong person)
• Ideally, there is the possibility of new scientific evidence

We ask that prisoners themselves contact us directly by mail.

In your letter, please

• Describe your sentence
• Briefly describe your case
• Explain your claim of actual innocence
• Indicate your appeal status
• Include your most recent lawyer's name and phone number

PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRIAL TRANSCRIPTS OR OTHER LEGAL DOCUMENTS

You will be contacted by mail regarding the status of your case, and whether or not it fits our criteria. If we need further information, we will contact you.
